Good morning and happy National Dog Day. At the risk of offending cat lovers, I think I’ll go on record and admit that I and my family are definitely dog people. We love our furry friends. Indeed, whenever we visit friends, our youngest will attach herself to their dogs and give them hours of love, attention, and pets.

And what’s Dog Day without a special treat for our pals? The kiddos are constantly sneaking dog toys into our monthly pet food run. Petsmart and Target have the kids’ favorite selections of toys and treats at reasonable prices, as does Amazon.
