The Catalina Island Marine Institute provides science camps for students in middle and high school and is a favorite field trip among students. In the last couple years, we’ve visited both Toyon Bay and Fox Landing. This post shares fun experiences from both locations.

We explore the Friendly Confines lore and legends on this tour. I also reflect on anticipatory grief and shared memories with my father, a lifelong Cubs fan.
