While not on too many top ten lists, Clingendael Park is a perfect place for a picnic or an evening stroll. With beautiful shade trees, walking paths, gardens, and a play space, it is a great place for a relaxed time in The Hague.

Spanning nearly the breadth of human history, the museum houses over 2 million artifacts- including some that involve controversy. Ih this short post, we visit Cherry Canyon Park, an open space located in La Cañada-Flintridge that has several miles of hiking trails and views of the San Gabriel Mountains. This space is popular among hikers and mountain bikers alike, with trails that range from easy to moderately hard.

The Reopening of Chantry Flat

After a four-year closure, we headed back to Chantry Flat Recreation Area in the Angeles National Forest. While life- and the trail- has changed some, there is still much adventure to be shared in Big Santa Anita Canyon.
