The British Museum revisited

On our summer 2025 trip to London, we once again visited the British Museum. Spanning nearly the breadth of human history, the museum houses over 2 million artifacts- including some that involve controversy. Cherry Canyon

Ih this short post, we visit Cherry Canyon Park, an open space located in La Cañada-Flintridge that has several miles of hiking trails and views of the San Gabriel Mountains. This space is popular among hikers and mountain bikers alike, with trails that range from easy to moderately hard.

The Reopening of Chantry Flat

After a four-year closure, we headed back to Chantry Flat Recreation Area in the Angeles National Forest. While life- and the trail- has changed some, there is still much adventure to be shared in Big Santa Anita Canyon.

Hiking the Angeles: Mt. Hillyer

On a clear October morning, we continued our trek through the Angeles National Forest, this time taking a quiet route to Mt. Hillyer. This picturesque trail takes hikers through pine forests and boulder field. At the summit, there are gorgeous panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains.
