Even with inclement weather presenting challenges for a President's Day camping trip, Pinnacles National Park offered up some new hiking adventures. In this post, the Cranky Camper highlights the lushness of the Bear Gulch and Rim trails, as well as a new hike along the Old Pinnacles trail.

Designated a national park in 2013, Pinnacles National Park protects the endangered California condor and unique talus cave formations. As part of our 2022 spring break, we visited Pinnacles, starting with Bear Gulch on the east side of the park.
