Mentioned in many a Jane Austen novel, and famous on its own for its historic Roman Baths, the city of Bath in Somerset has much to do and see. In addition to the Roman Baths, we walked the Pulteney Bridge that spans the River Avon and, of course, we paid a visit to the Jane Austen Centre.
This is the first in a thirteen part series on our Great British Adventure. The series will take us from Lymington along the Hampshire coast to Somerset to Oxford to London. It was definitely an adventure to remember.

As a result of the small fire on the Chinese American Heritage Foundation's entry and subsequent delay in the parade, news coverage cut before the Royal Cadet band and last three floats. This post features photos of South Pasadena’s ‘Three Little Birds’ and the 811 Underground Service Alert float.
