A Day in Bath

Mentioned in many a Jane Austen novel, and famous on its own for its historic Roman Baths, the city of Bath in Somerset has much to do and see. In addition to the Roman Baths, we walked the Pulteney Bridge that spans the River Avon and, of course, we paid a visit to the Jane Austen Centre.

Tournament of Roses 2019: What was Missed

It doesn't happen too often, but sometimes there are malfunctions or other issues with intricate parade floats. As a result of the small fire on the Chinese American Heritage Foundation's entry and subsequent delay in the parade, news coverage cut before the Royal Cadet band and last three floats. This post features photos of South Pasadena’s ‘Three Little Birds’ and the 811 Underground Service Alert float.
