Sunny San Diego: Beyond the Beach
While San Diego, California is known for its scenic beaches and craft beer, there are also many opportunities for hiking and recreation a bit further inland where the sea breezes still blow.
A Day Among Giants: Sequoia National Park
The Cranky Campers pay a visit to the largest trees on earth: the giant sequoias in Sequoia National Park. We also learn a few things while on the trip about having grace for each other and learning when to slow down.
America’s Everglades
Everglades National Park is the southernmost park in the contiguous 48 states, and is a land shaped by the flow of water. This habitat is home to a diversity of plants and animals- including the famed American alligator. On this trip, we explored the Anhinga Trail boardwalk and kayaked in Flamingo. The Tower of London
This final post in our Great British Adventure series focuses on the Tower of London. Since it was built in the 1100s, the Tower has served many purposes: armoury, treasury, Royal Mint, housing for the Crown Jewels, and very famously a prison. This was an interesting and educational experience for the family and definitely a must-do on any London itinerary. Cheers!
