On our summer trip to Europe, we made Greenwich our home base for London adventures. This borough in southeast London is of great importance to British maritime history, with the Greenwich meridian setting the standard for navigation and time zones across the globe.

Yosemite Valley Nature Watching
With its diversity of habitats as well as biodiversity, Yosemite is a great place to view wildlife while being respectful of their natural surroundings. On this adventure, the Cranky Campers explored the meadows of Yosemite Valley and bird-watched while keeping an eye out for bears. The most common sighting: the opportunistic, plucky California ground squirrel.
America’s Everglades
Everglades National Park is the southernmost park in the contiguous 48 states, and is a land shaped by the flow of water. This habitat is home to a diversity of plants and animals- including the famed American alligator. On this trip, we explored the Anhinga Trail boardwalk and kayaked in Flamingo.
