Exploring Berlin: From Tiergarten to Malchower See

Berlin is often considered to be one of the most environmentally friendly cities in Europe, especially when considering the vast acreage of green space the city has to offer. From the famed Tiergarten in Mitte to Malchower See in the eastern part of Berlin and everywhere in between, there were many green spaces to relax in and explore.

The Berlin Wall

The Cranky Camper family visits the Berlin Wall and the place that once divided East and Western Europe. The remnants of the wall stand as a monument to a divided history that will hopefully never be repeated. We also reflect on what Berlin may have looked like when my dad was stationed in the American sector many years ago.
