It has long been said that drinking the waters from the hot springs of youth will bring life and vigor back to your bones, curing all sorts of ailments. As such, Karlovy Vary has been a popular destination and spa town for past several centuries, with nobility, politicians, and other people of influence and fame coming to partake in its healing waters.
Český Krumlov
rom the moment we stepped off the bus at the station in Český Krumlov, it felt as though we were stepping into a fairy tale. The sweeping views of a medieval town nestled into rolling hills with the vibrant colors of autumn were like those one could find in a story book. And of course, no fairy tale would be complete without a castle, and the Krumlov Castle does not disappoint. It even has a moat filled not with water, but with bears.

Beachy Trails: San Clemente Bluffs
San Clemente, California, in south Orange County boasts miles of coastline and plenty of opportunity for recreation. One easily accessible trail is the San Clemente Beach Trail is a 2.3 mile rail-to-trail that runs from North Beach down to the San Clemente State Beach. The path shares its corridor with an active rail line that serves Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner route from Los Angeles to San Diego, The path is quite popular year-round and offers lovely views of the expansive Pacific Ocean.
